"I have hired Landmark Excavating to handle several different projects from small driveway cuts to major subdivision work. In 2010 we had them install over 2000 feet of 8 inch ductile iron pipe water main with a series of valves and road  crossings for a nine lot subdivision. They alsocompleted the connection from the new water pump station we built to the Village of Woddbury's water supply. I you have never been involved with the installation of this type of water main you can't really understand the scope of work and scrutiny that the installer is under by the municipality.

When the project was completed the municipality required a pressure test of the new line at a pressure that was 50% higher than normal operating pressure. The line was filled and pressurized and then they watched it for several hours to see how much water leaks out over that time. It is expected that there will be some loss and there are guidelines and parameters for acceptable loss rates. We were thrilled when the test passed with flying colors. Not only did the pipeline stay within the acceptable loss rates it tested perfect with a zero loss rate. The outside testing company was amazed and told us that they rarely if ever see that kind of result and we must have had excellent installer. That has been my consistent experience when I have used Landmark for any project, great or small."
