Reference: T.M. Brennan Contractors, Inc. General & Mechanical Contractors To Whom It May Concern, I'd like to take this opportunity to reflect briefly on the scope of work and Landmark's performance to complete such work for the above referenced project. Contract scope of work involved installation of drainage piping and structures around the four sides of Chicago Hall as well as within its courtyards, removal and repaving of existing sidewalks and parking spaces, excavation and waterproofing of existing foundation walls and landscaping restoration at all disturbed areas. They operated safely with all workers wearing proper protection equipment and all areas of disturbance were protected by fencing and barriers. The sequence of work and schedule were delayed significantly due to the operations of a coinciding roof replacement on the same building, unforeseen conditions, and redesigns. All such delays were not the product of Landmark yet they continually participated in the solution for each and maintained site presence regardless of monetary risk. The scope of work more than doubled in size yet the schedule was cut in less than half due to the delays. Above all pitfalls, Landmark completed the work by the contract completion date allowing the building to be open for the return of students. All work that required a change in cost was priced fairly by Landmark and was submitted timely with proper backup to allow for flawless approval by both TMB and Vassar College. This particular project, which was during the 2011 summer, was the first we had the opportunity to work with Landmark Excavating and Development. Our relationship during the project was intimately professional and the outcome solidified our working relationship together for future projects as well as future work at Vassar College.
